Our first Spotlight event of 2026 will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 5:00 PM at Wilkes-Barre's THINK Center. 

The theme of this event is From Startup to Standout: How Community Branding Supercharges Local Presence! 

Learn how entrepreneurs and growing businesses can intentionally cultivate a loyal community around their brand — not just as customers, but as advocates and long-term supporters. Our panelists, who will be announced shortly, will speak on: 

• Creating authentic brand experiences that foster connection
• Leveraging community engagement to increase visibility and trust
• Balancing growth with operational and financial sustainability
• Measuring the impact of community-building efforts

The Spotlight program features quarterly events that provide an opportunity for industry leaders and entrepreneurs in NEPA to meet, discuss and identify potential partnerships. Each event features a fifteen-minute presentation from an entrepreneur with regional ties, as well as shorter spotlights featuring local entrepreneurs, students, and non-profits. Spotlight is a Connect program coordinated with the Diamond City Partnership and sponsored by Wilkes-Barre Launchbox, through the Invent Penn State initiative. Spotlight is free to attend and includes food, drinks, and time for networking. Everyone is welcome!

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
