Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives to Visit Northeast Pennsylvania
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance, in partnership with BusinessPA International, is pleased to announce that Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives will be visiting the region on Thursday, September 18, 2025, for a special event aimed at helping local businesses expand into global markets.
The event, titled “Bringing the World to Northeastern Pennsylvania,” will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at The Venue / Culinary Creations by Metz in Dupont. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings with the Commonwealth’s international trade experts.
Pennsylvania businesses benefit from one of the largest and most comprehensive export assistance programs in the country. Through BusinessPA International, the state maintains a global network of 13 Authorized Trade Representatives covering 44 international markets. Representatives attending the event will include those from Australia, Canada, China, Central and Eastern Europe, Germany, India, Mexico, the Middle East, the Netherlands, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
This free event is designed for companies at all stages of export development—from those just beginning to explore international opportunities to those seeking to deepen their global reach. Services offered by the Trade Representatives are provided at no cost and include:
- In-depth foreign market intelligence
- Regulatory and compliance information
- Identification of qualified agents and distributors
- Industry and government contact introductions
- In-country support during visits to foreign markets
- Additional export-related assistance
While the event is free of charge, pre-registration is required. Bringing the World to Northeastern Pennsylvania is funded in part by BusinessPA International and sponsored by the NEPA Alliance APEX Accelerator.
